I have been lurking and getting advice for my 71 Mach I for close to a year now. Started out with a car and then OCD kicked in and now I have been to the frame and started back up replacing much of the metal. Sure has been fun and now the fun begins, just got the engine bay painted, inside painted and lizard skinned and the trunk painted. Now I need to put all the new interior in and redo the rear suspension, drop the engine and tranny and then off to get painted bright metallic blue the way it came off the line.

Good for you! Sounds like you're on the down hill side now! I can totally relate the OCD thing. My car started out as a simple "freshen up" and turned in to a nut and bolt restoration. We'll be looking forward to seeing pictures of it!

Your coming up on year here. Did you get a proper welcome?

Bought my car for a set of wheels and now has turned into a

full restoration project. Once you start you can't quit.
