Legendary NHRA car owner Roland Leong, "the Hawaiian," passes away

Wanted to inform our forum Funny Car race fans of Roland's passing last week at 79 years. Roland was a true class act and gentleman in every way possible. His cars were a force to be reckoned with, especially during the "Golden age" of funny cars throughout the 1970's. The next time you see big white puffy clouds in the sky that's Roland doing a burnout in his Hawaiian. RIP my friend.
