lower radiator supports

I am haveing a problem with my lower radiator supports. I replaced the rubber and the supports and now the radiator is not fitting right. The lower fan blade is making contact with the shroud. I have the radiator down as low as I can get it and the shroud is in the clips. Has anyone had this problem after replacing the lower brackets and how did you fix it?

Did you buy repop brackets? I am curious, because I have a pair of these and have not installed them yet.

Got them from Don. They look exactly as the ones I took out.

There are 2 sets of mounting holes, narrow and wide radiator. One set is closer together and about 3/8 higher. You might try the other set of holes. Just a guess. Chuck

All fixed. FastE you will have to play with the new rubber for the saddle. It can sure get frustating. Air was really blue in the shop. Thanks everyone.
