I'm gonna be putting dual exhaust on the coupe which was originally equipped with single exhaust. The rear valance under the bumper doesn't appear to have any cutouts for pipes. I wonder if I should look for a used Mach1 valance or just keep my pipes tucked up under the valance? Tucked up under might be cool considering that this car is going to be a sleeper!

Well, they are available from the Mustang parts Houses for about 95$ - - either way. I knw NPD has them and possibly "Mustang Plus" and "Mustang Unlimited" to name a few.

It should be noted that the "cut-out" valances were not unique to MACH Is - - in fact, mine came from the factory without them.

I personally like the "cut out" one but again, I am way beyond the "sleeper" category. I tend to be "over the top" and "in your face" with my big block iterations of the car:D!

That having been said, either one can be very nice!

National Parts Depot sells a repro with the cutouts for 92.95 {catalog is one year old }and the one without is the same price.

I did not know that...I just figured that the cut out ones were Mach1 stock!
