Looking at a listing in an FB Mustang group, he has lots of misc parts for sale. Good photos as far as I can tell. Has a tilt column and speedo gauge to sell for $250 + $80 shipping. Very little profile information, so I'm suspicious. Odds are it's a scam?

But if not, what's the difficulty rating on replacing a steering column? Even if it's a good deal the last thing I need is getting in over my head.

As for some detail pics they are unlikely to have.
If they supply the pics, probably not a scam. If they don't, still doesn't mean it's a scam, just a lazy seller.

Both items were out of a '72 and I have a '73. I passed. Besides replacing a column is probably out of my range, the last thing I need is to discover the '72 column wouldn't work, plus it was the tan/ginger color and mine is black, adding one more thing...

If it's a good price (bargain), buy it and trade for what you need.
