...So it's been awhile since I've been on...Last week I was overwhelmed with non-stop driving to various locations between my work schedule in order to loan out my car to a production company for shooting. They are using it for an Independent Feature Film, "Smuggler", which is set to release sometime next summer. I've added a link below, which tells the story line and cast. It was a great experience and fun, though the days were very, very long. I got to drive it during a chase scene, which was filmed from a helicopter, so it will be interesting to see how that turns out. Also, below are a few photos I had them take of the car with myself, after filming on the beach. Unfortunately I can't post any photos from the film just yet.

And Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone!

Very exciting stuff matey...

All the very best... Please keep us posted every step of the way...

Did they at least respect the car or treat it like a prop.
Well, I kind of have mixed feelings on that one. They did the best they could, which I believe to be true, considering I was there half the time. But also, they're were a few things that almost put me over the edge. It's just that very detailed/care a lot about the car mentality I guess...but in the end, I'm glad I was able to get the classic mustang exposure for all of our cars. Maybe it's a step in the right direction.

There's already some information about the movie and your car on the net leaked by the Director. Apparently your Mustang is to be the hero's car driven by Maurice Whitfield and your car will be named "Justine". Sounds like your car is getting a leading roll in the film, awesome!

Out of curiosity, very few movie hero cars look the same by the end of the movie...

Did the Hollywood effects crowd make the car appear to do something it didn't really.

Like blow up at the end or drive off a cliff or get chased by baddies? Or is yours the baddie? Hehe

I am not really sure just yet. They haven't discussed much. I do know that the chase scene I was in with the car, the car is being shot at, so maybe some bullet effects. I'll keep you posted.
