The coolest thing about this car was what I found when I changed out the original carpet. Look at the pics. I found enough extra nuts, bolts, screws, and other fasteners under the underlayment to build another car!

Under my cougar carpet was a used coffee cup (Ford logo) and a brand new drivers side power window control bezel/buttons.

WOW. What a find! But check this out. Look what I found "clunking around" in the back of the passenger front seat that had never been out of this Lime '72 car (the seats still have the original seat covers). I had to remove the plastic back trim panel to get to them, and cut my hand trying to wrestle it out!

Hi. The urethane bumper was swapped for chrome before I got it. Some people preferred it that way.
