Thanks 72Fastback !.....I'm gettin pretty beat up on the other forums!

Why ask on other forums? There are other Mustang Forums that don't always disrespect Wide Body Mustangs? I thought we were red haired step children of the classic Mustang world that everybody made fun of anyway...

It probably won't fit because it's too big, but a notchback late-model ('76-ish) Gran Torino has pretty much the roofline you're looking for.

I'd say start with a 'vert, and the roof off a 'Torino, and have some fun. Or, maybe a coupe and cut -n- fit the Torino roof til you get it how you want.

I dunno. I got plenty to do with just putting actual metal back into/onto mine.

How about starting with a coupe and using the top of convertible 1/4 panels to fill the gap left by removing the "fins"?

Couldn't you just relocate the rear window and extend the coupe roof line to conform with the angle of the factory fins?
