Ops I screwed up feet to meters

Let me start over hahahah

7/10 mile is 3696 feet

3696/14

264 feet per second

180 mph

If a vehicle can cover 7/10ths of a mile in 14 seconds. What is it's speed?
When I taught high school physics, one formula that all students had to remember was Velocity = Distance / Time. The answer to your question has been provided in previous posts. However, if the velocity is not constant from the beginning to the end of the 7/10ths of a mile, it becomes more complicated. Acceleration (change in velocity) enters the equation. Are you referring to constant or changing speed over the distance?
