Hi, I need the driver's and passenger's side rear window crank handles. The rears are a bit shorter than the fronts to clear the inner quarter panels.

Here's the correct front crank:

And here's a pic of the two cranks I need for the rear:

Thank you very much!

Scott

I looked on the two grandes at a Mustang salvage yard here and they were missing.

I checked out the handles from my 73 convertible. I replaced mine with reproduction ones, but kept the old ones. Your right, the rear handles are shorter. I don't think I realized that when I replaced them. With that said, the longer repro handles turn fine without hitting the rear panels.

For some reason, I have a longer handle in the rear, and it's smacking the panel. And the other handle is broken. If you're interested in getting rid of those old handles, just let me know!

Thanks for checking that out.

I have 34 71-73 parts cars, let me check to see if I have any 73 handles that are in good shape. Will check this weekend for you.

Since you pointed out the difference I think I will hold onto them and try to polish them up. Hopefully you will find some soon.

Wow, I really, really appreciate you checking for me. Are the rears on hardtops short like the verts are?

Scott
I always thought the verts and coupes used the same rear handles. I could be mistaken. You may try West Coast Cougars and get them from a 71-73 Cougar
