Nice rims. They have that cool late 70ies, early eighties vibe going.

Today went to workshop and brakes are being fixed and some parts changed, hopefully this weekend this car can see road again after a couple of years, we still trying to figure out if its a 302 or 351, some say its 302 others 351 hahaha.

Welcome!

Are those quarter panel extensions chrome plated?

Hola from Mississippi. Nice find. Your at the perfect site for 71-72-73 Mustangs. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. Very knowledgeable people here who are more than willing to help!

Ok, maybe this helps.

I tried to measure both my 351w and my 302.

The width of the intake manifold is different. The 351w is approximatively 2 inches wider.

I could not take exact measurements but the 351 is about 11 inches wide in between the heads.

If you measure about 8,5 inches, it's a 302.

As I said, these are not exact figures as I could not measure around the distributor and the coil but it should give you an idea.

Go to the Individual Project Build Threads and Blogs section and post reply and you can start your build thread. I would just repost your pictures there. Maybe the site admins can move it over but I am not sure.

Check with Don (Ohio Mustang Supply) as he may be able to get a full length console for you. They make a repro piece now but they are not cheap. Don should be able to tell you availability and price. There is a banner on this site where you can see what he has and his phone number.

Welcome form coastal Alabama! Cool looking project. Be sure to add a pin to our member map which is under the Fun Stuff tab at the top of the page.
