My Car
72 mustang fastback,{mine} 74 Chevy Nova {girlfriends car}
2001 Sunfire that is falling apart haha.
I liked mine also but had a mishap :-/ it's posted in a thread on here somewhere. But I also wanted to go from 14 to 15 inches. I am also planning on painting the car black at some point and I think these rims without the black in them will look great on them. Just fell in love with them the second I saw them so I wrote to Detroit vintage wheels to see if I could make a deposit on them till I get my vacation pay and he said no problem. I should be able to pay the balance off in the next 2 weeks then a few days of shipping and this boy will get an early Christmas present.

thanks guys. can't wait to get them here. All i got to do now is get more money to put tires on these babies hehehe will probably get some M/T sportsman ST. anyone know if P275/60R15 tires will fit comfortably on the car.

Nice, defiantly something different and awesome.
hahaha I'm part punk so everything I do is DEFIANT :p just kidding knew exactly what you meant. And thanks. not that I have anything against mag 500's but I always wanted something different. 90% of the mustangs you see on the road have some kind of mag 500 or 5 spoke wheel. I just like my car to be different a little hahaha. If any of you are looking for some cool wheels from the 60's and 70's or want something different I really suggest getting in touch with Scott from Detroit vintage wheels. He usually doesn't hold wheels and take deposits but he was very accommodating when I called him. he definitely gets a 9 out of 10 in my book.

I love the turbine/cyclone look myself... but then again, I love the Torque Thrust Ds as well. Then there's always the Cragar S/S, Centerlines (Auto Drag or Champ 500), and good ol' polished deep-dish slots as well.

I'm going to have a tough time when it comes time to put some shoes on mine.

I hear you, I've always liked what people either dislike or take for granted. Hence the 73 Mach 1 I have.

Mine is sporting dogdishes & 15" trim rings. I've actually looked at your new turbines before on the same guy's Facebook page and thought about getting those too. :cool: Not knocking Mag 500s & hockey stripes but seems like every Mach 1 that's done up real nice has 500s & stripes.

I have an old set of Cragars S/S that im holding onto to have redone & will maybe put those on one of my boy's cars.

Holy Crap. I took a look at those wheels and had a flashback. The year was 1985 and my car at the time ('77 Chev Monza) was equipped with steelies. The hucaps that came with the car were in rough shape so I went to the local dealership to order a new set of hub caps. I asked the gentlemen behind the counter what the cost would be, he said $90, I said for a set of 4, he said no it's $90 each. After the shock wore off I drove to the nearest Canadian Tire outlet and for just $15 more each ($105) I bought a set of turbine wheels exactly like the ones shown in the link. Those are beautifull wheels and should look really good on your car. Excellent choice.
