You have to tell more. I be the Black Death got your heart rate up there. I so want to do a buffalo with a muzzle loader. That is a great hard cap bull you got. What is the caliber rifle? I have a .458 Win. Mag. that would be the back up for the .50 cal. muzzle loader. I have a Kudu larger than what Jim Shockey has with muzzle loader but that day I took the .300 Win. Mag. and did not have the .50 cal. I actually tried to shoot .458 bullets in the muzzle loader using plastic wads. They quit making the dangerous game steel slugs for muzzle loaders. I have a few left. They will kick your *** when shooting. I am planning my trip # 15 for 2017 I am lucky enough to get to go almost free since I have friends in Africa. Could not go otherwise. You are the man I will probably never get to do but I have looked into their evil eyes many times.

Post up some video I am sure you have some. I miss the morning call of the the Ha De Da.

"I so want to do a buffalo with a muzzle loader"

Despite the wonderful tales about the neccesity of killing wildlife for whatever reason, the joy you guys get out of killing a being that is just as innocent as a human baby, appals me.

"Post up some video I am sure you have some"

Please post them up somewhere else, NOT on this forum.

Vincent.

+l I just felt sad when i saw that I feel like I'm intruding as i haven't done an intro yet but had to comment on this Intro coming soon kevin

I understand the concept of off-topic. That doesn't mean anything can be posted here though.

When I clicked the title I had no idea I was going to get a murdered animal pushed in my face. These kinds of posts (and responses) are upsetting to a lot of people, I doubt that that's good for this otherwise much loved forum.

This post in my opinion violates forum rules 4 and 7 and should be removed.

There is the "off topic" for.  ::thumb::

better mention in the title "not for sensitive viewers"

for some people wild animals and for some people pets...

Agreed, I don't consider this a nice trip to Zimbabwe... no joy in this post. Yes, if the title had been more accurate as to the content, I would have scrolled on past...

This is not just "off-topic", this is "Stupid primitive behaviour". What's next post? The head of the animal on a wall and some information about the length of ************ when you look at it?

Killing such a magnificent animal for nothing.

This makes me puke.

The local village was happy as **** to get a bit of protein in there otherwise mush and rabe diet. They were also happy to receive the funds paid. TFF.

Sorry that a few are offended by something that has taken place since man sharpened his first stick. Many in the U.S. grew up hunting. I did as long as I have memories I have hunted and yes we did eat what I took.

Do any of you eat meat or is everyone a vegetarian. How do you think you get a piece of chicken, burger or steak on your plate? The money that the hunting brings to the people in Africa is way more than from taking a photo of them brings in. All of the meat is put to good use and never wasted.

If there was no hunting the government in Africa would simply kill all the animals. Why because the people would have no income or food. You cannot raise crops or have domestic animals if herds of wild animals come in and eat everything. Yes man has built cities and taken the wild lands back but hunting is not what kills off the animals. Many more people hunt white tail deer in the U.S. than animals in Africa. In spite of that fact the population of white tail deer is higher than when American was discovered. Over 100 people a year are killed by car accidents involving white tail deer.

Hunting is one of the big benefits to Africa. It is the only thing that adds value to the animals. Yes people love to take pics of them and they are beautiful but they do not put much money into the economy of the people in Africa. I have been there 14 times and left thousands of dollars in their pockets what have you done to help them?

That Cape Buffalo was a mature older animal. You can tell by how the horns have caped on it's head and how the tips wear. When they get old they are kicked out of the herd by younger bulls to prevent them from breeding. They struggle to survive because there is no herd to protect them. Even elephants do that. When an elephant wears out their last set of teeth at I believe about 50 they die a slow miserable death of starvation simply because they cannot eat enough with their worn out teeth. Those are the elephants that are hunted and you are usually accompanied by a game management person to say which one to take. The price the hunter pays to take those larger animals is more than most of our Mustangs would sell for. How much money does it cost to take a photo.

Hunting is not cruel nor uncalled for. It is a necessary requirement if man is to live on earth. It does not matter if it is a chicken or a buffalo in my book. The animals were put here by God for man to use for his benefit just like trees and water.

If any killing should be stopped go after the Chinese who hire poachers that use helicopters to fly over and kill Rhino and Elephant for their horns and tusks and leave the meat to rot. The rich ignorant people buy the powdered Rhino horn for their false natural Viagra or an ivory carving to put in their home. They will drive them to extinction not hunters.

Every person on the forum has different tastes and desires. Because you have a blue convertible instead of a red one does not make you wrong. Hunting is not wrong just not understood by many because they do not know the whole truth.

It has taken millions of years for the population of people and animals on earth to get to where we are today. This round ball we live on has a limit of how many breathing living creatures it can support. At some point there will either be a massive disaster, war or disease that takes that back into balance. Has to or it will be total chaos on earth. Money will have no value only food and water.

Again I just wish people would open their mind and look at the whole picture of hunting and all of it's benefits.

It's not the killing of an animal itself that appals me, it's the fact that people get all excited about killing one and enjoy it so much that they post trophy pictures of their kill (and rifle).

To read "I so want to do a buffalo with a muzzle loader" indicates that the actual killing is giving you a lot of joy which I find barbaric. And whatever the Chinese do doesn't make it anything less than that.

I eat meat and I am sure the villagers enjoyed the meat from this kill. I'm happy for them to eat this animal and it gives the animal's death a GOOD purpose. I do not enjoy killing an animal for consumption though, neither do the traditional tribes men in Africa that hunt for food, they actually treat the animals with great respect, without making trophy photos of their kills.

God, Guns and America. But at least they invented the Mustang!!

I know when I go fishing and catch a trophy size fish I like to take a photo. Will even send it to a mate to wind him up with the proof.

Don't see what the difference is whether fishing or hunting in that respect

Only thing I disagree with is killing an animal for no reason so the fact this animal was sacrificed for food I don't see a problem.

At least you blokes in the USA still have your guns to go hunting with.

If the liberals get their way they'll be taking away our fishing rods next!

I would agree that posts like these are not appropriate.

If we can't post ****s in off topic (or anywhere on the forum that is) then I don't see why we should post pics of senseless killing on here. Killing for food is one thing, killing for sports is something completely different.
