Hello! So my 73....... making just north of 550hp and living in the California desert, I fabricated up an oil cooler and a power steering cooler to help keep temps down, especially at the track in summer.
I've ran my -10 oil lines from a Thermostatic Oil filter sandwich plate adapter on the block to the left front core support area. Im using an aluminum bulkhead fitting to pass through the core support to the cooler. Ive attached a picture of the hose routing, don't know how I feel about it. Open to suggestions?
Wondering though, will this work, as in will engine vibration crack the bulkhead fitting or cause a leak with a run like this?
Should I keep or ditch the makeshift line clamp deal I got going on holding both -10 oil lines and the -6 power steering cooler line?
My powersteering cooler line is basically ran along the along the engine compartment where the eventual wire loom will go. Haven't ran the high pressure line yet but it will run basically the same way, but to the pump.
Thoughts on the powersteering cooler line coming from the pump and the box? Will it live?
Thanks!
