I have a 72 mach1 with 429 ram air. i know there was not a 429 in 1972. When I got the car it had a chrome dipstick in it but it said made in China. I had to hunt for several months to find an OE dipstick. Paid a lot for it. It is not chrome and I don't know if there was a chrome OE dipstick for that motor.
