Thanks pal. I'll do some research on this. Didn't get into this yesterday, got sidetracked, and considering this is the first time I am doing this kind of replacement, I'm procrastinating a little admittedly.Paul, no doubt you have read posts on replacing fuel tanks and line recently.
I have a massive hard-on for NOT using worm gear clamps on fuel lines. Please make sure to use approved proper fuel line clamps.
The car will look great in that color and hopefully you'll have it done by your 91st birthday!!
All the best with it.
I did a fuel tank replacement with new SS lines and rubber tube replacement including a 3/8" solid fuel line to the Holley 670 cfm carb. Thanks pal. I'll do some research on this. Didn't get into this yesterday, got sidetracked, and considering this is the first time I am doing this kind of replacement, I'm procrastinating a little admittedly.
Great watching your progress, it's impressive! Love this end color goal you've set... It'll be another masterpiece.Ultimately this is the color goal. Although the hood will be black.
That being said, I should be done sanding it by my 90th birthday. It started raining here now...so moving in inside to tackle the fuel tank / line swap out...which should be a treat.
