NOS door handles have become scarce and spendy. Are the current crop of reproductions any good?
I have a 4 of them from an 85 Lincoln that one of my customer's daughters totaled. The only difference is they don't sit flush like the what came on our cars. All you have to do is file down the rubber pad behind the handle. I still have my original handles on the car because they are not bad at this point. Thanks for the info, guys! I'll probably order a set and stock them away so I'll have them handy when my current handles break (and they will). The ones on the car now are mid-'80s Lincoln Town Car units, which were really inexpensive back in the early '90s because people hadn't figured out that they were the same as originally used on our Mustangs and Cougars.
