I'm with you, Detector. Most of mine was 3D shooters against friends (Quake, Unreal Tournament) and some driving games (Need For Speed series, NASCAR Racing).
I tried WoW because my wife's into it, but honestly - I grew out of my D&D phase after high school and USAF Tech School (took it up again because I was always broke as a young Airman). Fantasy games just don't do it for me anymore. Not to mention, WoW is just too much like being at work for me. There are too many 'little things' you need to do to accomplish the goal.
My thought on games now, "if I can't kill it, fly it, or drive it, and be thoroughly satisfied within an hour - it's a waste of time." I get a lot of mileage out of MAME games (Galaga, Asteroids, Spy Hunter), pinball, and Spider Solitaire these days.
