Strut Rod Nut Size and Removal

Does anyone know the size of the big nut on the end of the strut rod?  Need to remove and replace bushings this weekend.  Thanks-

They are 1" nuts.

Do you mean the size of the flat on the nut or the diameter of the rod itself?

The rod is kind of an oddball size so try to not screw up the nuts you have.
