The primer on my 15+ year old push mower carb finaly wore threw...It would not start...I figured it was to cracked to work anymore...I was just about to go buy a new mower "about time" And i cutt the end off and stuck in a 30.06 case ... And it fired up like a champ and mowed knee high weeds out back all day...lol...Going clean the filter and try to squeeze a few more lawn mowings out of it..lol

Just have to wiggle the shell to get it too prime now...lol

lol that's country for sure, Mike. Gotta remember that one, 'cause my mower is going on 10 years and the yearly spark plug clean/oil change/blade sharpen is not getting as much mileage as before.

That's a good one, I'll have to remember that.

You should add that one to our Jury Rigging thread!

LOL..I should...It is defenatly a macgyver momment.
Now that's a good one!

I've got a large back yard with slopes and grass that grows like crazy so I finally broke down and bought an AWD walk behind mower, I love my wife and I'm sure this will make mowing the lawn much easier for her. I'm just that kind of guy.

Ohh my..Nice self propelled there....I always liked the husqvarna mowers...My dad just picked up one of these..Which i think a bit high priced for a sell propelled mower..but honda does got a good rep thou http://www.mowersdirect.com/Images/Honda-HRX217VLA-Lawn-Mower/i9746.html He picked up a Troy-bilt sickle bar mower too..Im behind the times with my bullet mower...lol..For the price i rather have your all wheel drive one i think.

I bet you even keep the gas tank full and check the oil for her too. What a nice guy!:)

My wife always wanted a riding mower...
Hey, I have one of those push mowers and an old bike, I bet I can make one.

I use to use the push mower on a steep hill at my old house that was too steep for a power mower. It was quicker than a string trimmer and better exercise.
