Does anyone on here have a 351C 2v with all the vacuum lines connected correctly? My car is backfiring on the free way pretty bad, the carbs and timing has been adjusted, the only thing I can think of thats causing it now is my vacuum lines?

I finished rebuilding my 73 351C 2.v with a C6 and A/C and just re-installed the vacuum lines. The car originally had the 2 port PVS screwed in to a contraption that was spliced into the two heater hoses near the water pump. See the attached picture of this thing in the lower left. I'm sure it was stock. Anyway I would rather eliminate it. So I located three places where I can insert the 2 and 3 port PVSs as well as the temp sender and thereby not need to use this heater hose contraption. I am also using the front and rear intake manifold vacuum ports. See the attached picture for details.

Does anyone see any issues with this configuration?  Is there any reason why I should use the heater hose contraption for the 2 port PVS. Would this configuration not pass as concourse correct? I would very much appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,

Rich
