Roy.... we are leaving Nov 21st. I have to stop by the port in West Memphis Ark. and then on to Gatlinburg hopefully by Sat. we'll meander around the mountains till Wednesday.

Well it was an interesting trip.... me and the 15 year old set out for the vacation trip. SHE really wanted to see her sister in Florida. I gave in cuz that's what fathers do. I did get to go to the Turkey Rod Run Thursday morning for 3 hours... not enough time.

So I missed my mountains and the rest of the family but I have to make sure the kids get together.

I suggest I'm coming to the community rambled through the woods of TinHuHcee.... nuff said!!! I didnt pull off any Deliverence and met at least two members didnt kill their family or ask to borrow money. We had a good time saw good country side ran the eastern country side from Va to Fl. ...just an experience observed.

Dana did I miss something? Ive been traveling like crazy since October so I hope it wasn't me. I did pass through H-town earlier today but didn't call anyone (family) there or anywhere on this trip. Just way too fast to slow down, so if you saw that was in San Antonio from an earlier post I made this week and had an idea of meeting up again as I passed through, I apologize...but it would have been cool to grab another burger somewhere.

And to my White Elephant gift recipient, I apologize because I haven't mailed your gift yet either.

I got to catch a few Leaves in TinHUHCee visiting a dyed in the wool FORD boy in VA. friend of `15 years.... we've traded car lies for a long time. He wont admit it but we spent a Thanksgiving cranking up a 65 Malibu SS!!!! He still has Chebbie orange on his wrenches. That project funded my 67 convertible which DonStang has seen.

I'm counting on it! I learned yesterday that my in-laws are moving from SA to H-town at some point in the near future. So the norm will be a few days in town when we visit them. However, I can only sit for a few hours before I'm looking for a gun range or something / anything to do. My ace is I have a step brother and you both there. I'm always willing to go shooting or wrench turning when the wife is shopping with her mom. I'll be sure to bring my .22 pistols in case we have a younger shooter join us & you havent given her a pink pistol yet.

Ha.... we're game. We can bring out an AR.... a 38 and I did pick up the 12 ga. for Clays. We haven't decided on the PINK 38 for the youngster...but after the last range day...we KNOW she doesn't want to mess with the 12ga.. Wifey did well at 50 yds with the 12 but would rather play with the pistol idea.

So we can wrench or go shooting ...your pick as my guest. I'm planning on repainting the convertible in the next 3 months for a show.
