Alright, so when I bought my car, it had an air cleaner on it. After a bit of research and I don't think it's the right one for the car for a few reasons:

A) There's no spot on the right side of the air cleaner for the valve cover vent hose

B) It's perfectly symmetrical, my understanding is that the 73 ram air cleaner is supposed to be slightly off-centered

Now, my car does have all the snorkel pieces, and the hood has signs that it once had the plenum for the ram air set-up.

In the mean time, anyone know what this air cleaner does belong to? I'm thinking 1970 Mustang.

Hole in back is where breather vent / filter go to valve cover

It looks correct for non ram air late 73 car

Well if this is correct to the car I guess I need to get a lid for it then! Would someone with a 73 H code mind taking a picture of their engine without the air cleaner in place? I need to know the routing of the valve cover vents and the location of the fuel line from pump to carb
