Hi Folks,

Thought i would pop this on the Forum for a bit of fun. Your country's slang expressions.:)

Ive included America, England, Australia and Canada for starters.If you dig up info about your country's slang on the net, pop it on this post as well. Have a read and have some fun, and maybe we will be able to understand each other a bit better.:p

EXAMPLE:

Geez, fair dinkum mate, that's a bonza lookin Muzzy ya got there. She's real grouse! Rippa colour too. How big's ya donk? (WTF does all that mean?):D

Since I live in the south I catch hell when I travel. Now let's get it straight Little Abner in the comic strips was a Hillbilly and he was from Arkansas. I am from North Carolina and we prefer to be called Mountaineers.

In Africa the people just look at me funny sometimes when I tell them something and when on a radio not a chance of them knowing what I say.

Here are some of the Arkansas slang terms and many carry over to my area.
