Which battery tray is correct?

I know Dennis carpenters stuff is top notch but why is his tray different than others? Is his correct?

The battery trays in our 71-73's were sourced from Torino's, so they will have a "DOOZ" prefix. Mustangs with the standard battery (24 Series) used the DOOZ-10732-A. Ones equipped with the HD battery option (27 Series) used the DOOZ-10732-B like the one shown in your link. If your car was equipped with the standard battery (majority were) that may be where your noticing a difference. Dennis Carpenter has a lot of OE Ford tooling and venders here such as Don (OMS) and CJ Pony Parts carry his products.
