Which Battery

I have had the best luck with Motorcraft Batteries in multiple vehicles in recent years. Sears Diehard a reasonable second.

Red tops used to be good but have gone down hill in my experience in recent years.

I'm on my 2nd Optima red top battery. It is expensive but I've found it offers two major benefits vs a std battery. No terminal corrosion or acid vapor issues, and very high cranking amps. Helps turn the engine over very fast and cured my hot start cranking problem.

The battery currently in my car was purchased April 2013 and

is now pretty much useless. This was bought from O'Reilly, I

don't want a replacement. What brand battery do you use?

I have heard AC Delco and Interstate are the best.
