What starter are you guys using for you performance builds? I need one for my 408C/TKO600 that has a 164T flywheel. Thanks

I am using a high torque DB Electrical. Great cranking, so far very reliable after 3 years, and cheap.

A little late, but I just use what was stock. Yes it's big and heavy. Close to 11.1 compression. Never failed yet (fingers crossed) 40 plus yrs. and counting.

I am running the one from DB Elec and have had no issues either.
