Anyone have the Bi-Metal sensor that goes in the rear bottom area of the air cleaner base? I think its used to control the heated air inlet in the air cleaner snorkel.

thx

Thx Mike for the info. I just bought one specific to the 71-73 for $59.00. It was NOS so I guess it was a good price.

Think I paid $80 for mine a couple years ago.

The air cleaner heater system which comes in handy in

cold weather is useless without it. The one I got was part

number D0ZZ and I don't think it matters what year.

Hang onto the box, I hear collectors will pay for the box

just because it is Ford original.
