i am looking at these. they are $200 bucks cheaper than Wheel Vintiques but i cant get any info on delivery, where they are made, cheaper prices, quality, etc. BUT, they are alum 17" Magnum 500's which are cool.
200 cheaper? Their $200 more each than the Wheel Vitiques I purchased last year.

18s are easier than 17s which tend to get in the way of the upper control arms.

Search "experience with bigger wheels" in the search section under my name.

I have spacers but that doesn't matter. Those are because my rims are for the 2005+ models but I have taken the measurements as if they were part of the rims so that the info on backspace and such can be used for everyone.

If you want to stay with the 14" wheels, you can get BF Goodrich Radial TAs from Walmart. I think I paid $114 each

I put 225x70 R14 on my 14x7 rims

wow you all have a lot of know how . thanks for the info . i think i sold on the 16" or 17" so im still woundering about the max back space for front and rear . i did new lower control arms i was told thay would allow 8" wide rims but thay looked the same . so im still trying to learn . thank you all for the help

Hi Nails,

My experience only runs to using 15inch rims.

If you are hell bent on getting 16 or 17 inch rims, i can't give any proper advice. If you jump back to 15's, i'm a wealth of wisdom.

Greg:)
Hey,

those magnum wheels look very nice on your mustang. Are the front wheels and tires different than the back? I'm looking for the same look on mine. Mine has some modern wheels and it really doesn't look right at all.

I've been thinking a 15x7 with 225/60/15 in front and 15x8 with 255/60/15 in the back.

Can you tell me what your set-up is?

Cougar same as the Stang. Just used 1" spacers with 2004 Mach 1 "magnum 500" 17 inch rims. Didn't even need to get longer studs.

I'll have to check my records but for specifics but they were just 1" aluminum wheel spacers. Nothing special.
