73 Mustang Mach 1 project

I was given a 73 Mach 1 back in '89 and have been working on it on and off. Haven't driven the car since I got it. Hoping to get it into paint end of October 2014.

sounds sweet! Have found a paint shop yet? Or doing it yourself? MAACO at 2.5k 3 coats of clear and finish baked on. Wish i would have gone that way~did not get the clear and see mine 72 conv resto mod from q to r code w/+ power disc 95 mustang special white paint loaded w/all but power windows~power/tilt wheels~A/C planning on paint to match on front lower foil and trim around engine compartment

A friend of mine will be painting it at his place. He has an opening at the end of October so hopefully it will work out. He did the body and prep work a few years ago so it looks like it will be basically spraying a sealer and then 3k blue glow base, argent hood then clear. Finding a lot of useful information on this site and people that put an insane amount of effort into their cars. Obviously for the love of Mustangs and not for profit. A refreshing change.

i have sitting on the fence watching to work and rework on mine per se since 03 ie 08 w/body to one place and motor to another then the paint and drive train to another and i hope to be off the fence in the tweaking of the performance matter before begins to snow out and maybe a hood and rear lid customize over the winter. Welcome from latrobe PA see my 400 pic of restoration to....COTM MARCH 2015 as well ++ more of how it looked that is not completely posted yet if you need a little xtra humor and entertainment for i have to offer from my perspective and detail comments if you have the spare time and if you are optimistic and open minded as other products check out the complete write up on xado.com which i do not see a snake oil product and can see as you have to stand by amsoil- i too as well you might find xado performance for permanent and long term auto operations enhancement- interesting as a possible addition to your line as a distributor of- i have no status with this product as well not in the position to get into its business for my econonic growth as i am set but it appears the distributorship end of it is still at its botton floor and no other product is in the market to date to compete whether to the auto owner to the repair shops nationwide.
