Found this browsing around for cars I won't be buying. Under the hood looks fresh but seems like a pretty steep price for a car without the original motor/trans. Later model 302 could be out of anything.

Oh I believe it, if I hadn't already committed to the one I have I would 100% went and looked at it. That's awesome, didn't realize he was a member! I was looking at a 70 cougar a few years ago that originally had a 351c, had been replaced with a 302. Came out of a fairmont....so I had flashbacks for a second.

Huh, as we all know and have found out, it's all the little missing stuff that adds up.
Car is an "M" code with AC, and yes, such a shame the 351C and trans were missing, as well as the bright red/black deluxe interior.
Car does have all new floors, subframes and trunk pans. That was a plus when I bought it.
302 is out of a Thunderbird (I was told by the PO).
C4 was rebuilt, NEW everything, including RAM air hood and components, Saginaw quick ratio power steering box and pump.
I just enjoy driving it to Cars & Coffee cruises!
