My Car
1971 Mustang Mach 1 Fastback
I’ve loved muscle cars since I was a teenager. Drove them until I got married, sound familiar. Kids come trans-am goes now it’s a van. Oh well. Kids go and live their own lives.

Decided it was time for muscle cars again, but this time buy a clunker and fix it. Went to automotive school for two years. Got beat up 71 Mach 1. Started taking it apart and found it was more beat up and fixed up incorrectly than I thought. So I’m a newbie and decided to join a group that liked muscle cars and had experienced in fixing them. So here I am …. Hi

Welcome to the forum and for joining as a member right off the bat! We'd all love to see a picture(s) of your Mach 1 project. You'll be right at home here and be amazed at the help you'll get. Looks like you're from the Phoenix area, I'm from "rust prone" Michigan. Again, welcome,
Bob

Welcome, Ian, and howdy from Texas! You'll find you've come to the right place. This site and the Ford Shop Manuals are some of the best references you'll find to guide you through your project. See ya 'round the forums!

Welcome from NM. Please tell us about your car and post some pictures.

Welcome from So Cal. Tell us the story how the car came to live with you. Old cars are kinda like kids who never move out! Always needing a few bucks to keep working. Beside car pics, I am finding I’m as interested in the “shop” you’re gonna be living in now that you have a room mate. So pics of both! Again, welcome.
