Received my Marti report, a little disappointed that they repainted the car, and removed the a/c.

Replaced spark plugs(ap45) not correct either (should be ap42) , so 302 truck heads or 390 ?? who knows.... gonna have to tear it down and get stamping numbers, but no hurry....

Replaced old washer line from tank that goes through the harness, ( really just bypassed harness with new hose) adjusted nozzles so that they actually squirt on windshield.

Read forums here, and found out there is an auto park feature on wipers, so tomorrow... I will disassemble motor to look at that cam that controls that....

Installed dash speaker from CJ Pony, doesnt fit bracket perfectly, but I made it work, Installed new 8mm wires on HEI distributor, ( I chose 78 Chevy 305 wires, a little tight, but seemed ok..Is there a better choice ? opinions please.) replaced original headlight switch.

For wires I cut mine to length.

My '72 Mustang convertible has been parked in the garage since we moved from north Texas to southwest Florida in early October. We've been really busy dealing with hurricanes, endless new house projects, and hosting company over the Holidays, so unfortunately The Green Car has been wearing a heavy coating of dirt and grime acquired while riding out Hurricane Debby back in September on a car carrier at a truck stop on IH-20 in Alabama. After a long cold spell, today's weather was sunny, warm, and beautiful. This afternoon I backed the Mustang out of the garage and gave it a nice bath! Our first car show of 2025 is coming up this Friday evening. It's a charity show to raise money for the family of Charlotte County Sheriff's Deputy Sgt. Elio Diaz who was tragically shot and killed in the line of duty a few weeks ago . The weather forecast for Friday calls for 81 degrees and sunny, so hopefully there will be a good turnout for this great cause! Until then, The Green Car is cleaned up and parked back in the garage (with the cover on to keep it clean!).
