Vehicle in question: 1973 Coupe.

Trying to see if anyone knows the front brake hose fitting size that comes from actual steel line to the flex hose. I recently did a front disc conversion and the fitting is way too small for the new braided flex hose that came with the kit. IMPORTANT NOTE: this is an original 6 cylinder all wheel manual drum car. I want to order the adapter so I can finish the brakes. Attached is the hose and line in question and the other photos are a little before and after of the new suspension and brakes. Any help is appreciated.

The factory line nut should be 3/8-24. Since you don't have a factory disc brake setup, you'll need to determine the thread in your new hose. Brake line fittings are straight thread. Check with the manufacturer or find a bolt that screws into your new brake hose. That'll give you the thread sizes for the adapter. IMO, I would find a line nut that matches the thread on your new brake hose, cut and flare the line with the correct part. Fewer points of failure is always better, especially with brakes.

I will do that, I just need to figure out what the actual hose size is… I have all the tools to make new brake line so that’s what I’m going to do. Thank you.
