The shaft that pushes the piston in the master cylinder may need to be adjusted. pull the cylinder off the firewall, or brake booster if it's power brakes, and check the rod. It should have threads on it that allow you to adjust the length.

The manifolds are mounted. Unfortunately solving one problem seems to have caused another. the passenger side manifold is now aimed directly at my Duraspark module. :(

That's the add on air. It was added by the dealer. I pulled mine out. With it in the passenger side didn't have enough leg room.
