The guy was trying to sell it for more but the 302 that was in it blew a piston killing the motor while it was on a test drive. I thinking I'll put the 351w I rebuilt in it. The parts alone make it worth it for me.

Damn... I'm envious! My first car was an '82 GL hatchback... and I still miss my little four-eyed freak. I had huge plans that involved 5.0, T-5, 1" drop BBK suspension goodies, 4-wheel discs, SVO kicker shocks, Recaros, and all sorts of other cool stuff.

Well, I thought I was going to get the car. A week ago I gave him a hundred bucks. He was at work so We were going to meet up the following sunday to look at the car. Sunday comes and I can't get a hold of him. I call him monday same thing. So today I went to his work to find out why I can't get ahold of him. He tells me that he doesn't have the car any more and he will have to pay me the hundred dollars back when he gets paid in a week in a half. He also told me his cell is disconnected and gave me his girlfriend's cell. Fine whatever. Well when I got home he texts me on the cell that is supposed to be disconnected and tells me to never go to his work again plus some other choice words. So no car.

What a jerk...hope you get your money back

I think all 18yr olds are like this. I was working with (with is a strong word. around?) a first year apprentice when I was a fourth. He would constantly take my tools without asking and misuse them. After about the 4th time I finally got in his face about it, I had been nicer before this. Just like this guy he proceeds to go off because I had the gaul to expect him to not walk on me. Only that guy was brave enough to do it to my face.

Dang it, I saw the first post and got quite excited. I'm a sucker for a good four eyed stang. Sorry to hear that the deal went south so fast. It's unfortunate these days how little people feel like they need to own up to their own actions and how little respect they give to those around them. Hopefully you get your $100 back from this guy!
