I had my 70 Cobra bumpers redone at my local shop that still used copper and does excellent work. My originals were very nice and it cost me 400 each. That was about 14 years ago. So who knows what they would charge now.

Yeah my original isn’t too bad has just one small dent and I have a very good chrome shop near me. But it’s expensive. I’ll get it fixed and rechromed one day.

Here is a comparison of the ends of a reproduction rear bumper to an original. They are nice but wow.

NPD sells a replacement cap for the reproduction flip down style gas cap. But by the picture it doesn’t have the small tabs to assist it removing and installing it.

For those who are using TMI sail panels have you done something better for mounting the clip (door panel style clip) this is my second set and the first set I just tried pushing the clip into this flimsy thingy and it instantly split. So I didn’t use the clip but want to try to use the clips...

Decided to drop off the hood today instead of next week. Also putting what I hope is the final coat of primer on this fender.

Been a busy few days here at the home garage resto shop. 😂 Touched up the roof and drivers quarter and fenders. Got the deck lid back from blasting and epoxy primed. Have to spot prime one fender and work a few small low spots on the doors and re-spot prime them. I plan to drop off the hood next...
