    Ebay J-Code(?) Driver Project

Well, I have not been getting much done. I got my crate 460 in back in 2021, but it had a road race pan and thus no clearance to the PS header. I pulled the engine over the past winter and changed the pan to a regular deep sump (not a 'T' sump like the road race version previously): However...

    saginaw transmission

I am not aware of a solution for this using Ford parts. I think Quicktime sells an adapter bellhousing to allow a GM-pattern trans to bolt to a SBF, but it is pretty pricey. Obviously it would be easier to use a toploader as everything from clutch linkage to flywheels and clutches would then...

    4V Head Question

If it were me I'd make a matching pair somehow, I wouldn't trust somebody to mess with the chambers unless they really knew what they were doing, and to have that done in my area is going to cost mucho $$ and take a while. I guess it depends on your goals for your build- if you are going to...

    Discussing Ford C3, D3, And FR9 Engines With Roush-Yates

Supposedly a 96 vintage Yates CTS engine. I am totally new to NASCAR engines, but pretty excited to possibly get this even with it being damaged!

    Idler Arm Issue

For some reason I thought that the bushing torsional stiffness was different between manual and PS to help with the return to center feel. Since more positive caster can be dialed in with PS the idler has a stiffer bushing to provide more assistance to return the car to center. I don't know if...

    Metal Dash Panel Finish

The original soft dash pad and metal dash panel are missing from my car so I'm trying to figure out the best course of action to replace it. My car should have the Mach 1 Sports Interior option in blue, so this panel would have been painted blue. The panel that was in the car was black so it...

Vehicles For Sale 1972 Mach 1 Project Car FS

I bought this car from a former co-worker's uncle in 2013, it spent all of its time in the Cincinnati area and has some rust issues because of that. Its a shame because otherwise the car is in great shape. When I got it it had been disassembled in the 80's for a repaint and never put back...

**HELP** Grinding noise from the rear driver-side wheel area

Hard to tell for sure, but it sounds like something on the inside of the brake drum. Reminds me of turning a drum on a brake lathe. It could be something rubbing on a wheel too. Seems like that would leave some wear marks though.

    How to price my mustang??

Unfortunately it is difficult to gauge value as it mostly depends on the buyer. Your car being partially disassembled is going to hurt the value. Check Ebay and FB Marketplace for cars listed for sale, probably the only thing FB is good for is people letting other folks know how their stuff is...

    Pinion Yoke, Long vs Short

I think changing yoke length would require getting a new driveshaft made. Strange Engineering or Yukon Gear should be able to provide a replacement yoke with the correct joint specs and the same length.

Very good video interview about Oil and Piston Rings

So this guy's channel is visiting old NASCAR shops and this story starts with interviewing Lake Speed Sr. In the process of that interview they decide to redo one of his old Cup engines. This video is throwing that engine on the dyno for a baseline:
