I'm breaking down a 351w that I got off Craigslist; it's been rebuilt at on time or another. During disassembly I noticed that the pistons have an 'F' on them, I'm hoping that's for forged and not some sort of foundry mark. Theres also a cast number inside the piston 'B747'.
Anyone know if...
Hey guys, I'm looking for a driver side caliper bracket that attaches to the spindle. I've lost the one I had  I can't find it anywhere. I have a pix of the one I lost.
TIA!

I'm looking at building a new motor for my Stang, I'd like to start with a late model 302 roller block. I'd also like to do a stroker motor while I'm at it. Does anyone know the pros and cons between the 331 and the 347 stroker kits? I know bigger is always better, so I'm leaning towards the...
As I've posted in the past, I've parted out several 71-73 Mustang over the years and I'm now cataloging and storing my hoard.
Has anyone seen or have a link that might tell me which carb tag goes with which carb? I know that D1ZF is for a Mustang and then is the revision code, but what are the...
Hey guys, I got a question, I just got a new carb for my car and it includes an electric choke (never had one of these before). Does anyone know of a good power source for the choke? Either under the hood or under the dash, it needs to be switched via the ignition switch.
TIA

Here's my newest acquisition, I bought it for the convertible to trunk lip, just incase mine ever needs to be replaced, and yes, I'm a pack rat with Mustang parts, not too bad for 150 dollars, including the trailer hitch.
When I needed new bolts to mount my gas tank I couldn't find a local source for the 7/16 by 4.5 bolts to mount the tank. But I did find them online, by the box of 25, since I only needed two, I have a few spares...
I'm asking 10 shipped for a pair with the nyla-nuts. Just what you need to...
Hey guys, I'm about ready to start my car for the first time, and I'm not sure where the negative wire routes to. The motor is a 302 and I do not see any tabs or mounts on the block (like Clevelands have) for the wire. Doe it go to the block or elsewhere on the chassis?
TIA

Hey Guys, I’m looking for some detailed pictures of the voltage regulator and starter relay area. When I removed the wiring harness to detail the engine compartment, I didn’t that any pix of where the wiring harness goes, so I’m kinda stuck figuring out where the wires go and connect.
Thanks...
Has anyone done the Shelby mod, relocating the upper control arms 1 inch, to there 71-73 Mustang? I did it on a 1970 Cougar and loved the results. IIRC I thought the 71-73 already had that built in to the design at the factory?
Thanks

I am unable to find the brake lines from the master cylinder to the distribution block (correct ones anyway). So I’m going to make my own.
On the master cylinder, do the front and rear cylinders pump the same amount of fluid?
I’m wondering if I need to have the same port to port alignment...
Hey guys, got a question, my Marti report says my car came from the factory with 'E70x14 Belted tires', 'White Sidewall Tires' and 'Wheel Covers'. How do I determine which hub caps are correct? Would it the standard caps or the dog dish type? This is for a 1971 Convert.
Thanks

Has anyone come up with a formula or some type paint to simulate sloppy grey? That's the correct color for the shock tower braces, and the hood latch mount, right?
Robert
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has a throttle cable holder, that the mounting holes are 180 degrees (or inline) to the throttle cable? The one on the car is 90 degrees.
Thanks
Robert
Hello all, I'm new to the site. I've owned 7 Mustangs from 71-72 everything from this convertible to a Boss 351 and several Mach's. It's great to find a site that caters to our crowd. I can't wait to read all the tips and pointers on the forums.
