Hello everyone, working on my 1971 mach 1 next weekend, am currently cleaning/removing rust from trunk, sanding, and then the big question. Should I paint the trunk, or use undercoat?

Anybody have a picture of what the 71 Mach 1 Bumper brackets looks like? I came across an original Mach 1 front bumper a while back, didn't realize brackets were different from the 73. At some point in my car's life, the front bumper got replaced with a 73 bumper and am trying to correct that...

Hello, I'm a bit lost here . What would be the correct brake line kit for 1971 Mach 1 with disc brakes up front and drums in the rear? I accidentally bought some wrong lines already, and would rather cut my losses and do a clean install, but it's hard to judge from the pictures on the websites...

Was trying to put new brake lines on my 71 Mach 1 when I noticed that my Brake Warning Light (the green plug) was broken. Is it worth rebuilding my distribution valve, or should I just buy a new one? How difficult is it, I saw another post where someone posted a link to buy a rebuild kit. thanks!

So I accidentally messed up this little part here. Not sure what it's called or where I could find a new one. This is on the driver side door, the manual window crank attaches to it and allows to roll up /down the window.

I've been away for a while, but always lurking these boards. I have a few rookie questions. I have a 71 Mach 1, 351C, 2 Barrel, I believe the carb is an Autolite 2100. I'm not sure where A1 is suppose to connect to, I don't see a thread on A2 (which is where I assume A1 is supposed to connect...

So I'm restoring/working on a 71 Mach 1. On top of the list is to get the engine going and make sure everything major mechanical component is in tip top shape, and test drive for a short bit. The car will need to be fully restored, as I've replaced small parts here and there, door handles, door...

So, I'm not sure what this part is called. this is taken from the front driver side wheel. You can see it's disconnected. Has anyone replaced or fixed this part? Thanks.

Has anyone replaced the exterior door handles, and lock on a 71 Mach 1? Do you have pictures of how you accomplished this feat? Any help would be appreciated. THanks.
