Vibration when running engine at 1200-1700 rpm’s and crusing about the same.

He said it does it in park, so likely not a U joint. Basically, I have no idea.

More ripoff tactics from Speedmaster / ProComp Electronics / AT Racing World

That is excellent news, not that is a product I'd ever need, but it shows commitment to supplying any and all products are the genuine part. The back question is, why did they buy that product in the first place?

    Brake lights lenses

If you already have decent tail lights but look grungy, if you carefully strip them down to clean and repaint the aluminum (only on 71-72's) you can use "brake fluid" on the acrylic plastic to remove any and all paint, crud etc. However, if the housings are bad, maybe time for replacements...

As some may not know the significance of of the event being held at the Essex Engine Plant. That is were, amongst others, the Coyote motor is built. They had a few variations on display. What a monster it looks on a display stand!

Thanks. Personally, I think Ford have drifted off the mark with this series of Mustang. However if I were to be given one, I wouldn't refuse. Here's a few more.

    Mystery hose - rear

Hmmm, the yellow hose might be the rear axle vent tube. Here's a pic of what's on my car around that area.

60th Mustang Anniversary at the Essex Engine Plant, Ontario Canada

What a beautiful day for this historic event, 75 degrees and mostly sunny. I was told the max capacity was 200 cars, but that was far exceeded. However there was only 2 71's representing our mark. Myself and a fellow named Rick, who is also a member here. Apart from that there was a good cross...

    Boss gas cap

Ford did a lot of weird things back then it seems, Logic was NOT an option!! Here's another one that doesn't make sense to me. Why didn't Ford drop in the stronger close ratio gear box in the Boss. They had it in the 429. And the list goes on................

    New face

Hello and welcome from SW Ontario, Canada. When you get time, some photos of your new ride would be most welcome. As for the motor, I'm not the guy to suggest the best options, but I think I'd look at a total rebuild so you know what you've got. Good luck.

    351C thread question

I just checked that thread on my engine. It ought to be 5/16-18 BUT it is tight with a tap and a bolt. I don't have time to play with it right now, so I suggest chasing it with a tap. It is probably tight due to paint and or crap build up. It won't be metric for sure.
