1971 4 speed top loader Reverse Lock Out

Wondering is there only one rod required for this to work and if so is there anyone on here that has one for sale.

There's a brand new one for sale on ebay, but you are going to pay a pretty penny by the time it is delivered here to Australia.

I have a three speed toploader in my car, I removed my lock out rod on purpose, didn't like my car dictating to me the conditions for which I was able to remove the key from the ignition switch!

My 4 speed is also missing the lock out rod.
I repaired my 6 cyl 3sp lock out, yes, just the rod and connections to the trans and column.

Judging by the pitting and finish it's been restored.

Agreed. Remove it and wire it up. Silly contraption.

I slightly modified my 3-speed rod, works really well, put a 4 speed in last year. If I remember correctly had to add about 3/4 inch to the rod.
