1971 Mach 1 at NHRA Chicago

I think the only parts left of the original car are the rear lights but according to them it was the original car. I didnt see anything else that could be original. The engine is a Hemi block from Australia making about 3000 hp according to them. I dont really know any more information.
This was at the Chicago event yesterday. The unique hood design caught my eye while visiting the pits. The car was a Pro Stock sponsored by Culp Lumber. I didnt get to see it racing.

It looks stock to me. It seems they ordered the ultra rare Funny Car option. Chuck

They may have used a few original body skins, maybe, tail lights maybe, but seriously doubtfull. I don't know what the rules say they have to use to be legal.
