That is a good price for a 4-bolt block in good condition. You might try posting at least the casting numbers of the block and manifolds, as well as some pictures.

It's also difficult for someone to buy a used motor without knowing the internal condition of the engine, whether or not it's a standard bore. Speedometer mileage is worthless, might have turned a time or two.
