After almost 2 years I'm taking delivery next Tuesday, really pumped!

Spent the week in Phoenix checking out the car.  Not quite ready for delivery yet, but did drive it about 100 miles and had it dyno tested.

Ohhhh Boy, I see tickets in the future. Unless you out run them  .  Thats some serious H.P and torque.

Just a stock 6 cylinder 3 sped manual here…nothing to see.  LOL

 Very nice! I had a 2015 GT, that’s a great motor!

Our deep restoration took 13 1/2 months, and I was so jazzed to finally get our 73 Mach 1 back. I would have waited longer, and paid more, had it been necessary to get it back in this condition. It has now been almost 17 months since getting it back. It was worth every moment of the wait, and every nickel we put into it. Last year, after getting it back, we transplanted an AOD in it to replace the original C4. Wow! What a nice cruiser now, even with 3.5:1 TractionLok gears in it. It used to spin the engine about 2,900 RPM at 60 MPH, now only 1,850 RPM at 60 MPH. The engine is a street/strip built 351W (not C), so there is plenty of power to push it along at higher speeds with the air resistance, so the AOD brought more than just a theoretical higher top end. What a blast to drive and cruise in... It runs as good as it looks. And now Winter Hibernation is over, Car Season 2022 is here. Woo Hoo!
