1973 SIDE BODY MOLDING TRIM

[CANAM FLA 73]

I's like to replace all my side molding, all i can find is the molding for the doors. Is this all that's available. My drivers side fender a has a a ding, and if a replace one it will stick out compared to the original. Maybe better to stay with what I have. Thanks

You might want to check with Mike @Motorcity Mustang for some good used trim pieces. Also, @Bill Perkins may have some inventory.

The body side protection moldings are bright dip anodized aluminum. They can be straightened and polished, or polished and re-anodized. WCCC has contacts to do the restoration work, it might be worth a call to see if that's possible.

Are the clips that these strips mount onto reproduced? Took mine off and looks like I lost 1 or 2 ..

The moldings were used 71-73, but after 71 they only had a black rubber insert. 71s were color coordinated to some of the exterior paint colors.
