351 C 4v manifold choke tubes

Greetings:

Going over my recent purchase of a 71 Mach 1 with 351c 4v M code...

I noticed two tubes sticking out of the intake manifold on the pass. side that were not connected to anything... I assumed they attached to the stock 4300 carb.?

This Mach has a Holley carb and seems to run fine.

Can I simple remove these tubes?

Yeah they plug into the choke from a heat riser in the manifold your Holley like mine has no need for them. I just removed the tubes and left the holes empty.
