Trying to track down a throttle cable for 71 mustang with a 429. Is it interchangeable with other cars that have the 429? Thanks for your help.

I think cable fitment is most affected by intake choice- if you are using a stock or near stock height intake then the 302 or 351C will probably work.

You peeps are the best. You’re as right as rain. I found a bracket off a 460, did a little grinding to clear the ram air air cleaner and presto!! Cable of 351 fit perfectly. Thanks for the guidance.

An original J or C code 429 cable is as rare as hen's teeth today. As I've only had the QJ carburetor on my car's, I'm not sure if the Holley cable setup was the same. As noted above, you will more than likely have to modify one of the other cable/bracket setup's to work for your application.
