When the transmission is cold, with engine at low idle and transmission in Park, the transmission fluid level should be between the Add line and the end of the dipstick. When the transmission fluid is warm and the engine is at low idle and the transmission in Park, the fluid level should be between the Add and Full lines.
That's great to know. I would've thought that the level would go down with heat, not up. Thanks

Okay, fellas. 'nother update for you.

I've adjusted the RPMs to 1500. It sounds a lot better now. I've not tested it in drive, because of the issues with the choke, but I think this is a good start.

So like I showed above, the fuse was popped, which is why my choke wasn't opening. I replaced it today, and did another test, and it popped again. Highlighted what I thought was the issue, and then just before testing, found this thread: https://7173mustangs.com/threads/4-fuse-blowing.33521/

Turned out to be exactly the same issue. After replacing the fuse and leaving that unplugged, it never popped again, and the choke now opens. Tomorrow I'll do an actual drive test now that I think everything is working correctly and I'm glad I made some progress today.
