Want to purchase a 1971 Mustang Mach 1 in either red or black exterior with trunk spoiler and a 351-cubic-inch v6 285 horsepower, four barrel Carburetor.
Good News if you own a Boss HO or 429 they have got to be worth more. Our cars are finally becoming more popular more demand more dollars. You should all thank Gas Monkey for that :p

1) wrong spoiler ( 69-70 mounts)

2) wierd blacked-out fender trim

3) wrong carpet

4) aftermarket air

5) front bumper poor fit

6) rear bumper poor fit ( possibly 73' mounts)

Hardly seems like a 50-grand investment. Maybe a solid $20,000. Maybe.

Why $49k?

A. It could be a consignment job, and they're making money on having it around even though the owner wants too much,

OR

B. Because they're confident enough that some real sucker with more money than brains will walk into the showroom, see it, and decide that he'd rather blow $50k on that "cool car" than have a new Audi. Two years later, it'll wind up with some other broker for too much money again, or get put on eBay by the seller if the car gets panned by multiple concourse judges.

IF it was a all original M code 4 speed with 23000 miles on it - why not?

From the pics it looks like it is not original though

There is an old saying in the automotive business. "There's an ass for every seat". Someone will buy it.
