$49,000 Mach 1?

This dealership in Arizona is asking nearly $50,000 dollars for an M-code Mach 1. How can they possibly get that much for it? And what could be so special about the car to ask that much?

2) wierd blacked-out fender trim

3) wrong carpet

4) aftermarket air

5) front bumper poor fit

6) rear bumper poor fit ( possibly 73' mounts)

Hardly seems like a 50-grand investment. Maybe a solid $20,000. Maybe.

Why $49k?

A. It could be a consignment job, and they're making money on having it around even though the owner wants too much,

OR

B. Because they're confident enough that some real sucker with more money than brains will walk into the showroom, see it, and decide that he'd rather blow $50k on that "cool car" than have a new Audi. Two years later, it'll wind up with some other broker for too much money again, or get put on eBay by the seller if the car gets panned by multiple concourse judges.

Sounds unreasonable~even for a boss 71 convertible. That is what the early 70s Panteras in mint condition.

Sounds unreasonable~even for a boss 71 convertible. That is what the early 70s Panteras in mint condition.
